The Original Wash Tub Sink is our cornerstone product. Reminiscent of a bygone era, the Rockwater Original Wash Tub Sink pays homage to the past when laundry/utility sinks were crafted from concrete. We managed to get our hands on an authentic turn-of-the-century original concrete wash basin and painstakingly restored it in order to develop our molds from one of the originals. This is the real deal, and lends a hand in creating a room worth paying attention to.
We are expanding the Original Washtub Sink line to include a double basin kitchen sink. This piece of concrete craftsmanship has been slightly altered to physically fit better in a modern kitchen environment.

Finishes
Finishes - We have three types a finishes that we consistently produce at Rockwater concrete. It is important to note that we produce our concrete to maintain the natural organic beauty of concrete which means it is full of imperfections and natural blemishes. If you are looking for a uniform and pristine finish you are looking in the wrong place. Such finishes are obtainable from concrete but require many hours of labor to hone and polish the material. There are definitely some great producers of such concrete and if you require such a finish we can point you in the right direction. If you are wondering why we choose to leave concrete in its more natural state, its because we love the rawness of the material and it also makes it much more affordable for our clients and customers.
Standard
This is a unique finish created during the casting process of the concrete. This finish is unique from piece to piece and will never be exactly duplicated.
Smooth Etched
Smooth etched surface is a slightly more uniform color since the outer layer know as the cream of the concrete has been removed this is common in walking surface applications when more traction is needed. Can also be present but typically much less frequent due to the production process of pavers and tiles.
Aged Streaked
This is a unique finish created during the casting process of the concrete. This finish is unique from piece to piece and will never be exactly duplicated.
